Abstract Frequent changes in fiscal policies are the main cause of credit risk. To prevent households from increasing their non-performing loans, government can use various and instruments. One these tools is tax regulations, with a particular focus on value-added tax. This paper examines whether have affected household loans Turkey over period 2017 to 2021. acquire meaningful empirical results, Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) cointegration model been applied. The results analysis indicated that effect regulations quite strong. It be demonstrated strength income generated by cuts might robust.
